The installation, composed of glass and mycelium and electronics, uses the metaphor of mycelium as the heart of life. An ECG sensor connected to the mycelium heart detects its electrical signals, which are then displayed on the oscilloscope, visualizing the&nbsp;<em>line of life<\/em>&nbsp;as an electrocardiogram.
